Education & Experience:
- Degree in IT
- 15+ years of progressive responsibility in the areas of implementing SAP solutions and providing ongoing SAP support.
- At least 10 years SAP management experience leading teams/departments of at least 20 people.
- Strong management skills to perform strategy planning, directing, reporting and administrative responsibilities of this position.
- Extensive experience working with cross-functional and global (remote) IT Teams, business users and vendors.
- Experience in SDLC methodologies and in driving IT standards in a fast-paced organization.
- Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, testing, and implementation of multiple SAP projects.
- SAP ECC 6 certification (alternatively the ability to demonstrate extensive relevant experience)
- Managed at least 5 full life cycle SAP projects, successfully delivering on time, to budget & requirements.
- Project Management certification preferred (Prince II practitioner/PMP/MSP/ PMBOK)
- Experience of ASAP methodology
- Knowledge of IT leading practices such as ITIL and CMMI.

- Establish the SAP CoE as the Technology leader in the business so that it becomes the sought after centre for advice on all SAP related matters.

SAP Capability Development
- Responsible for establishing a view of current SAP capability & preparing a plan of action to improve SAP capability both within the SAP CoE & the business.
- Ensuring that the SAP CoE produces a training plan aligned with the SAP capability development plan.
- Accountable for the execution of the SAP training plan by the SAP CoE.
- Implement processes with SAP SA to enable the SAP CoE to participate in local/global forums for industry & SAP product knowledge sharing.

At the end of an interview there is usually an opportunity where you can ask any questions you might have. This is a great opportunity to show the interviewer that you are interested in the position as well as the company. It is a good idea to prepare a few questions before the interview – this can be done while you are doing research on the company.
